LA&M Visiting Scholars Program will soon open - apply before March

The Leather Archives and Museum invites people to apply to their Visiting Scholars Program - the 2020 application process will open sometime before the end of January, and often the deadline is March 15. This blog will be updated to reflect the latest information from LA&M.

This program supports scholars in using the archives and materials for their work, giving a stipend and covering some travel expenses. Last year, the 2019 Visiting Scholar, Heather Racquel Phillips, received a $1,000 stipend and travel expenses. Phillips is a lecturer in the fine arts department at the Stuart Weizman School of Design at The University of Pennsylvania, a member of the artist run gallery, NAPOLEON, Ms. Philadelphia Leather 2017 and a recipient of The Leeway Foundation Art and Change Grant.
